The DSS for vineyard management

GrapeDSS is Agricolus’ Decision Support System designed for wineries that want to manage vineyards with a structured and sustainable approach.

The DSS helps monitor vine development throughout the season, supporting protection against crop diseases, insects, and frost, as well as crop health monitoring and the assessment of specific parameters to determine the optimal harvest time.

From € 735/year

Why choose the DSS for the vineyard

Vineyard management requires decisions related to both crop protection and the vegetative and productive development of the crop: relying on precision farming tools is essential to interpret field conditions and intervene promptly.

With GrapeDSS, you have all the features you need to monitor vines, prevent the main threats, and plan interventions during the most critical stages of the season, up to ripening.

What can you do with the DSS for vine

Increase production quality and quantity
Efficient agronomic management of the vineyard helps preserve the production potential and quality of grapes and wine.

Protect the vineyard from crop diseases and insects
Forecast models help assess the risk of Peronospora, Powdery mildew, Botrytis cinerea, Black rot, Lobesia botrana and Scaphoideus, so you can intervene at the right time.

Intervene promptly in case of frost
The frost model helps you anticipate the risk of harmful weather events and plan the actions to take.

Optimize input use
Water, treatments, and fertilizers can be used carefully and consistently with the vineyard’s needs.

Reduce management costs
By intervening only where and when needed, you can better organize monitoring, field activities, and resource use, resulting in cost savings.

Features

Draw the field on the map or import shp and kmz files, then add all the relevant crop information.

Register crop operations and organize activities in the field.

Phenology forecasting to assess the vineyard’s needs at every growth stage.
Forecasting of crop diseases and infestations to assess the risk of Peronospora, Powdery mildew, Botrytis cinerea, Black rot, Lobesia botrana and Scaphoideus, and intervene promptly.

Estimation of irrigation requirements to intervene when needed with the optimal water supply.

Calculation of the total nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium requirements (kg/ha) throughout the crop production cycle to provide recommendations on nutrient doses to apply.

Ripening indices to determine the optimal time to harvest and produce excellent-quality wine.

Frost forecasting to anticipate harmful weather events (up to 7 days in advance) and identify the type of risk.

Cluster counting, thinning estimation, potential alcohol calculation, and ripening index.

Check professional weather forecasts up to seven days, updated every hour: temperature, humidity, wind speed, and precipitation.

Geolocate and register crop scouting with the Agricolus App: phenology, pests and diseases, anomalies, soil analysis, traps and captures, yield and quality monitoring.

Write notes and add photos and voice notes: you can associate them with one or more fields or a specific location.

Register your agricultural machinery, any problems and maintenance carried out. You can also connect them to Agricolus by using Agrirouter.

Monitor the economic and environmental sustainability indicators of the farm. You can set target levels for each and track the progress.

Create and assign a production lot to each harvest to improve the traceability of the operations carried out. A QR code is generated, allowing access to a dedicated web page where all product information can be viewed.
