The Made in Italy on the most important stage dedicated to technology.

The 51st edition of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2018) has been taking place in Las Vegas from 9 to 12 January. This is the most prestigious international fair dedicated to the hi-tech world and its latest innovations.

For the first time this year, Italy participates with 44 startups representing technology and Made in Italy solutions. 29 of these young entrepreneurs have been selected, under the patronage of the Ministry of Economic Development, by a committee composed of some of the main Italian startup ecosystem players: AREA Science Park/Innovation Factory, APSTIe-NoviaIndustrioItalia StartupUnicredit Start LabTeorema-TILT, and World Trade Center di Trieste.

The Italian delegation also includes the participation of 15 other startups, involved by ICE and Sardinia Region.

The Italian Pavilion is in fact composed of the Booth “Made in Italy – The Art of Technology”, the Sardinia Region Stand and the ITA Stand at Eureka Park.

The number of Italian companies is small, especially compared to the presence of other European countries. But the ambassador group taking part at CES 2018 is ready to showcase the Italian technological excellence, from the medical sector to the agritech one, from the IoT to chatbots, from artificial intelligence to 3D printing.

The main objective of the Italian participation is to represent the great value of Made in Italy entrepreneurship.

Agricolus shows its platform for precision farming that provides decision support systems to farmers, technicians and farm managers.
